Challenge

With over 36,000 staff in offices throughout Australia, New Zealand, and financial centers around the world, the client’s HR department was eager to explore the role mobility could play in improving the efficiency of its chaotic and time-consuming onboarding process.

Solution

Concentrix Catalyst worked with the client’s “Garage” group (an internal team of entrepreneurs) and HR on a Rapid Design Visualization engagement. Over 6 weeks we conducted user sessions, developed recommendations, conceptualized two separate experiences, and created a working prototype designed to ease the stress and time taken to onboard new starters.

Outcomes

The “Walk in Working” responsive mobile solution was fully deployed to employees. It accelerates the new starter onboarding process, reducing onboarding time by 50%. The solution consists of a dedicated website for hiring managers and a mobile website for new starters. Together, the solution saves hiring managers time and provides new starters with a central location for information.
